Poznań Once Again Became the Centre of the Automotive Industry. TTM 2026 Attracted Thousands of Professionals

TTM 2026 once again gathered automotive industry leaders, manufacturers and experts in Poznań. Four days of the fair became a space for technology premieres, business meetings and discussions about the future of the automotive industry and modern workshops.

TM 2026 is now behind us. Four intensive days of discussions, technology premieres, industry meetings and conversations about the future of the automotive sector once again confirmed that the Poznań Automotive Technology Fair remains the most important event of its kind in Poland and one of the key meeting points for the industry in Europe. As Bartosz Dembiński, Director of the TTM Fair, stated:

“This year’s edition demonstrated not only the strength of the automotive market, but also the enormous need for dialogue in times of rapid technological and business transformation.”

Poznań International Fair became the centre of the automotive technical industry. Nearly 300 exhibitors from Poland and abroad presented their offer across four exhibition halls. More than 11,500 industry professionals visited the Automotive Technology Fair, while TTM and Poznań Motor Show together attracted a total of 94,384 visitors.

The professional character of this year’s edition was best reflected in the opinions of exhibitors themselves, who highlighted not only the high attendance, but above all the quality of conversations and the increasingly specialised profile of visitors.

Bogusław Raatz, President of the Management Board, Herkules Auto-Technika Warsztatowa

“When asked about my opinion on the latest edition of the TTM Automotive Technology Fair, I believe it is worth looking at it in a broader context and comparing its organisational level, attendance and visitor profile with previous editions. Only such a comparison gives a realistic picture of the direction in which this event is developing.

In my opinion – at least from the perspective of our stand – the fair is clearly evolving towards a specialist event. And this is the direction we have long been hoping for. There are fewer random visitors unrelated to the industry, while the number of attendees coming with a specific purpose is definitely increasing: to see solutions, discuss technology and confront their own experiences.

This significantly changes the nature of conversations. Instead of general questions, we are seeing detailed technical discussions about applications, profitability and workshop organisation. It is clear that many visitors are decision-makers or people with real influence over investments. This directly impacts the quality of contacts and their future business value.

Importantly, despite the more specialised nature of the event, the number of visitors – at least in our case – is not decreasing. This proves that the fair is not losing importance; rather, its profile is changing. For us, this is a very positive signal.

One could say that TTM is increasingly ceasing to be an event ‘for everyone’ and is becoming a meeting place for professionals. And today, such a formula focused on quality rather than accidental attendance makes the most sense.”

Exhibitors also emphasised the importance of direct meetings and conversations with customers and business partners. The opportunity to present solutions in practice and exchange experiences remains one of the strongest elements of the event.

Kaja Bogacka, Marketing EMEA, Oetiker

“From our perspective, the fair has been highly successful. Our stand attracts many visitors and generates significant interest, resulting in numerous valuable conversations and new business contacts. Direct discussions with users of our products are particularly valuable to us, as they provide important insights and confirm the practical application of our solutions in everyday work.”

Tomasz Kompanowski, Sales Director, HORPOL A. Horeczy Sp.k.

“Participation in the Automotive Technology Fair 2026 in Poznań is always an excellent opportunity for us to present the latest HORPOL products for the automotive industry, as well as to meet directly and build relationships with our contractors and partners. It is an extremely valuable and effective time spent among professionals, which is what we particularly appreciate about this event.”

TTM 2026 once again proved that modern automotive trade fairs are much more than just product and technology exhibitions. Today, they are primarily platforms for exchanging knowledge, experience and discussions about the direction in which the entire industry is heading.

On the first day of the fair, the industry meeting “What’s Next for the Automotive Industry?” took place, organised by the MTP Group and the Automotive Technology Association. Nearly 50 CEOs, management representatives from the most important industry organisations and market leaders, as well as representatives of public administration, participated in the discussion. Topics included electromobility, regulatory changes, access to repairs, the expansion of Chinese brands and the future of vehicle technical inspections.

As emphasised by Rafał Sosnowski, President of the Automotive Technology Association:

“We live in times of extremely intense change. And wherever change appears, there are always those who know how to take advantage of it and those who are left behind. That is why it is so important for us as an industry to recognise the direction early enough and start taking action.”

These discussions naturally continued during the 3rd Automotive Forum, where experts and market representatives debated topics such as the future of independent workshops, the role of electromobility, the impact of Chinese manufacturers on the European market and changes to the vehicle inspection system.

An important part of this year’s edition was also the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Automotive Technology Association and 15 years of co-organisation of the TTM fair by STM and the MTP Group. The anniversary highlighted the importance of long-term industry cooperation and STM’s role in creating a space for dialogue, education and development of the automotive market in Poland.

There was also no shortage of prestigious industry events. During the Trade Press Award 2026 gala, the title of Journalist of the Year was awarded to Bogusław Raatz, editor-in-chief of Karoseria magazine. The gala also honoured companies and organisations particularly distinguished in the development of the automotive market, including the Polish Tyre Industry Association, Tip-Topol, DSS, Herkules Auto-Technika and Mechatronika Wyposażenie Dydaktyczne.

During the fair, the most innovative solutions presented by exhibitors were also awarded in the MTP Group Gold Medal competition. In total, 16 products and technologies setting the direction for the development of modern workshops, diagnostics and service equipment were recognised.

An integral part of the event was also the jubilee 15th National Mechanics Championship, the Automotive Knowledge Olympiad, workshops and numerous practical demonstrations. It was there that young mechanics and future specialists had the opportunity to confront theory with practice and gain experience working with modern automotive technologies.

Although emotions after TTM 2026 have not yet faded, one thing is certain, Poznań once again became the place where the automotive industry not only observes change, but actively co-creates it. This year’s edition left behind hundreds of conversations, new business contacts, inspiration and a clear message that the future of the automotive industry is being shaped right here.

All that remains now is to save the date of the next edition of the Automotive Technology Fair in your calendar. The event will take place on 20–23 April 2028 at the Poznań International Fair grounds. See you there!
